If you are looking for boat rental in Estepona, the first thing worth knowing is that the boat does not have to leave from Estepona for the day to work. Our home port is Puerto Banús, 22 kilometres away — about a twenty minute drive. And in practice those twenty minutes buy you considerably more coastline than leaving from Estepona itself would.
Estepona to Puerto Banús: the real drive
It is about 22 km port to port. On the AP-7 toll motorway that is 20 to 25 minutes at any time of year. On the coastal A-7 it takes a little longer, and in July and August quite a lot longer: that is the road everybody uses to get to the beach.
Parking is inside the marina, right by the pontoon, so you do not need to budget extra time for the car. In high season, do leave a margin — Puerto Banús on an August Saturday fills up.
For perspective: it is a shorter drive than the one plenty of people in Marbella make to get to the Cabopino coves. It is a local hop, not a journey.
How does departure work?
Home port: Puerto Banús. Departure from Estepona available on request. The boat is berthed in Puerto Banús and that is where the charter starts by default. If you would rather board in Estepona, write to us with your date and we will look into it: it is something we assess case by case, not something we can take for granted in advance.
In practice almost everyone drives to Puerto Banús: twenty minutes, parking inside the marina and the boat waiting on the pontoon. No supplements, no transfer times to coordinate and nothing eaten out of your charter by logistics.

This is the real advantage of coming from Estepona: the good water sits between Estepona and Puerto Banús, not on the far side. When you head west out of Banús, five or ten minutes of cruising puts you in the stretch that is, for you, on the way home.
El Saladillo and Guadalmina
Wide beaches, clean sand bottom and very few boats around. It is the most comfortable anchorage on the whole western stretch, and where you go when the easterly is blowing and the Marbella side is choppy.
San Pedro Alcántara
Right next to Banús, only minutes away. Calm water, a good spot for the first swim and for getting the paddle board out without going far.
Towards the Estepona coast
The stretch between Estepona and Manilva is the most open on the western coast: less built up, with very clean water towards Punta de la Chullera. Getting there with time to anchor, eat and swim needs the full 8-hour day; on a 2 or 4 hour charter it is out of reach.

Rates are for the whole boat, for groups of up to 10 people. They include the skipper, fuel for the usual route, insurance, paddle surf, snorkelling gear, light catering, water and soft drinks, a complimentary bottle of champagne and VAT.
Our advice if you are coming from Estepona: 4 hours is the sweet spot. It gives you two unhurried anchorages without the drive weighing on the day. The full day makes sense if you genuinely want to reach the west, or if the Gibraltar boat trip appeals.
The boat: one De Antonio D50 for ten people
There is no fleet to choose from: there is one boat, a 15-metre De Antonio D50 built in 2026 with 2× Mercury V12 600 hp. Which means that when you book, you already know exactly which boat you are getting, who is skippering it and what condition it is in — precisely what you do not know when you book through a listings platform.
It takes up to 10 people comfortably: swim platform aft, bow sunbed and an interior cabin. A professional skipper is included in every charter, so no passenger needs a boat licence.
